We’re pleased to welcome Richard (RJ) Boyle as a new Underwriter to Millers! RJ will be reporting to Derek Shaffer and brings valuable experience and enthusiasm to this role.

RJ joins us from Chubb, where he has worked as an Agribusiness Underwriter since 2022. During that time, he built a strong foundation in Commercial Property & Casualty, supporting agribusiness accounts across both property and casualty lines. He has developed solid risk assessment capabilities, including analyzing financials, evaluating loss trends, and identifying operational exposures. RJ is also known for his ability to collaborate effectively with brokers and internal partners to deliver thoughtful, disciplined underwriting solutions.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Gwynedd Mercy University. Since entering the insurance industry, RJ has truly found his stride and developed a genuine passion for underwriting.
