As we reflect on 2025 and look ahead to 2026, I want to thank you for your continued partnership with Millers Mutual. In a year that included meaningful change, our focus remained steady: providing agents with a reliable, knowledgeable carrier you can confidently represent in the multifamily housing market.

In 2025, Millers Mutual achieved strong premium growth while maintaining underwriting discipline, resulting in a favorable net combined ratio of 91.7%, our best combined ratio in over 25 years. We also ended the year with policyholder surplus exceeding $119 million, representing our largest surplus growth to date. Our A- (“Excellent”) Financial Strength Rating from AM Best, reaffirmed in early 2026 with a Stable Outlook and Financial Size Category of VIII, reflects the consistency and stability that our agents and policyholders rely on.

Our growth continues to be thoughtful and deliberate. In 2026, we plan to expand our presence in North Carolina and Virginia—markets that align well with our expertise and long-term strategy. At the same time, we remain committed to maintaining capacity and consistent support across our existing footprint. This measured approach allows us to grow responsibly while delivering the service you expect.

Looking ahead, several initiatives will be especially noticeable to our agency partners. Chief among these are updates to the Agency Portal platform and download functionality. These improvements are designed to enhance usability, reliability, and efficiency, making it easier for you to do business with us.

Ensuring stable leadership is critical. The Board has removed the “interim” designation from my title, providing clarity and continuity as we remain focused on delivering exceptional service and advancing Millers Mutual’s long-term strategy, while thoughtfully taking the time to select the best successor.
