After an illustrious career spanning more than 40 years in the insurance claims industry, Tim Kirk, Vice President of Claims at Millers Mutual, will retire at the end of 2024.

Tim joined Millers Mutual in the summer of 2015, bringing a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our Claims Department. Over the past nine years, he has been instrumental in driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and elevating the quality of service delivered to our clients.

Before joining Millers Mutual, Tim held senior leadership roles at Starr Insurance Companies, where he managed claims for the Transportation Profit Center, and at Lincoln General Insurance and Crum & Forster Insurance as Vice President of Claims. His vision and expertise have left a lasting impact on the organizations and professionals he has worked with throughout his career.

Tim’s educational achievements include attendance at Brooklyn College and the University of New Hampshire. He completed multiple segments of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation at the College of Insurance in New York City. Additionally, Tim is a licensed Pennsylvania Life, Health & Annuity Producer, reflecting his commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth.

As Tim transitions into retirement, we thank him for his many contributions to Millers Mutual and the broader insurance community. His leadership has left an enduring legacy that will continue to guide us into the future.

Steve Zickefoose has stepped into the role of Vice President of Claims, effective September 1, 2024. Steve’s experience and leadership will ensure the continued strength and success of our Claims Department.
